Amal Mondal
Director of Operations

Amal embodies the two primary skills necessary to lead Black Diamond's manufacturing; an extremely strong educational background and vast hands-on experience in exotic leather tanning.

Educated in leather technology, with a Bachelor of Science in Leather Technology with an emphasis on chemical formulation, Amal has spent 25 years in the tanning of alligator, crocodile and ostrich; in Canada, Australia, Nigeria and Bangladesh.
 
Amal has assembled a tight, skilled team of experienced alligator craftsmen; led by a world class finisher, Martine Choquet, with more than 40 years in alligator finishing, and John Goot, the most skilled shaver in the U.S. alligator business.

Bill jefferson
Fashion, sales, and Marketing manager

Bill brings more than three decades of experience in the leather industry, working with the top tanneries in the word such as Sedesa, Prime, US leather and the Marmon Group. He brings a tremendous amount of experience to Black Diamond’s high quality sustainable American Alligator business.

Bill Jefferson also represents Abas Accessories; a US private label manufacturer of luxury accessories. Founded nearly fifty (50) years ago, Abas specialized in Alligator, Ostrich and Java Lizard.
